Teegs accidently joined radio in 1997. While studing at uni Teegs was working at a local leagues club where she was talking up a storm on the mic in the club. She was asked by local radio announcer Ashley Mac to audition for the co-host job.

Being good, at not much more than talking, Teegs soon joined HOT FM radio as the breakfast co-host and copy writer. She spent 8.5 years at HOT FM doing Brekky and filling in for promotions, dabbled in some sales, event management, actually she was the general dogs body around the place.

She then spent 18 months in Marketing before returning to 4MK FM. Teegs does the brekky show with Meech and then gets you through the work day solo.
