Scottie’s from the City of Churches and Chappell’s, Adelaide. Home to plenty of Holy places, and the Chappell Brothers, Ian, Greg and Trevor. His radio career began under the chimney stack of a lead smelter in Port Pirie, South Australia. Despite this, “the sulphur and lead dust has not effected me at all”, Scott say’s with a noticeable twitch in his left eye, and a slightly slurred speech. He also says that his infertility is in no way related to the location of the radio being right beside the main rail line between the mines and the smelter. With the possibility of cleaner air, Scott headed to the beautiful seaside town of Port Macquarie in NSW, where he spend 4 years, and discovered that their were actually two 5 o’clocks, when he was offered his first breakfast show. After this, his life has turned into an episode of the Leyland Brother’s as he “traveled all over the countryside”. Working in tropical Townsville, freezing cold Orange in NSW, and the rather sleepy Murray Bridge, in South Australia. Now it’s Mackay he calls home, loving the mild tropical weather, and now of course, the opportunity to sleep in as he does the drive shift. One question has to be asked of him (and by him), when the hell is he going to put us all out of our misery and propose to his lovely girlfriend. We’re all frustrated waiting, imagine how she feels.
Scott on air from 2-6pm
