2010-07-14  - Carlisle Christian College taking Stall bookings NOW Carlisle Christian College is now taking bookings for all stall holders wishing to take part in the Monster Market on Sunday 17 October 2010 8am - 1.30pm. Costs remain the same as last year - $20 for a site. 2010-09-06  - Live well with Asthma Free Workshop The Live Well with Asthma workshop is to be held on Monday 6th September 12.30 - 2.30pm. The Workshop provides information on asthma medications and how to take them properly. how to know when your asthma is getting worse and what to do when having an asthma attack. 2010-09-11  - Iona West Uniting Church Fete The Iona West Uniting Church Fete is on again. On the 11th September from 1pm to 4pm in the grounds & hall in Brooks Street West Mackay. There will be plenty of Stalls, Entertainment, Activities for Children & Afternoon Tea.

2010-09-18  - 4MK, proud sponsors of the Bowen Fishing Classic Now in its 19th year, the Bowen Family Fishing Classic and Wet Weekend is the biggest family fishing competition in the country. Held on Bowen’s Beautiful Front Beach, the event not only offers recreational anglers the chance to compete for a host of fantastic prizes... it provides the whole family with the opportunity to play and be entertained over an entire weekend in the Climate Capital of Australia. The Classic, as it is rather affectionately known, is a local tradition within our region. For it is the entire Bowen community which makes this event as special as it is. Whether it is the dedicated team of volunteers who work year-round planning the event, or, the National, Regional and Local businesses who donate the host of prizes on offer, including the Senior and Junior boat packages... this is a weekend to remember!
